Dr. Lichtman is a board certified adult psychiatrist trained in both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy.
I received my BA from Yale University in literature and film. I subsequently studied Pre med at Scripps college in Claremont, CA. I attended the University of California, San Francisco for medical school and completed a four year residency training at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Program. I also completed a 2 year fellowship in Long Term Psychotherapy at the Harvard Medical School Adams House Fellowship. I have more than 5 years experience treating patients in a private practice setting.
In addition to medical training, I have a background in literature and film that is appreciated by patients who are creative artists, writers, entrepreneurs, academics, and anyone with interdisciplinary interests. Most importantly, I truly love being a psychiatrist and this translates into attentiveness and openness to discussing any life problem
